Antique Beer Steins

Antique Beer Steins

It would be one of the most interesting aspects of the history of beer.  When you look at the king of the old world, you see him ripping through a leg of turkey and putting down beer from his favorite beer stein.

Beer Steins are actually an art, a science, a sport and a pastime all at once.  The unique designs made from porcelain and glass can fill a room and have beer enthusiasts enjoying the variety for hours.

Boots, Mugs, Glasses, and Steins can literally take any shape and size.  It’s a great time to drink beer out of a meter glass.  When you get to the bottom, you are a little impaired.  Then, the fun begins.  You can literally spill it all over you or go thirsty trying to get it to your mouth.  Only the experts can find the perfect spot.

And that’s just the beginning.  The fun has just begun.  Glasses that look like eagles and Steins that look like lighthouses don’t even begin to scratch the surface.  So, Antique Beer Steins is a beautiful topic to explore.  It’s a good thing I’m just the beer enthusiast to do it.

  1. Very informative site.
I was searching for info on a stein I have when I came across your site.
I have and old 1 liter stein that has a gold stamp and number 30 on the bottom, and the number 805 behind the handle.
Do you know of a site where I can learn more about my stein?

  2. Do you know where it came from? Can you possibly send a picture so I can look at it? I’ll give you my best answer. I know of several sites that have information about all kinds of steins.
